Culture and Community
At Golden Hill, community and culture are a way of life. Our cultural director arranges varying activities that are regularly updated and suited to the residents’ interests.
We offer a rich and diverse schedule of which residents can choose their preferred activities, including various classes, live shows, concerts, lectures, workshops and more.
The lobby is vibrant all day long with regular encounters, card games, attractive seating areas and a charming coffee and pastry corner. They all create an active and significant social space that enhances the sense of belonging, engenders interest and enables all residents to feel part of a warm, moral and human community.
Residents’ Restaurant
The residents’ restaurant operates on the pastoral balcony by the Golden Hill lobby – a meticulous culinary space combining contemporary chef dishes with traditional and home-style flavors. The dishes are aesthetically served, using fresh, diverse and quality materials in a welcoming and homey environment. As part of our holistic service approach, a certified nutrition works with the restaurant and provides individual advice to each resident based on medical needs, personal preference and lifestyle choices. The nutritional plan is individually tailored based on a holistic view of health, welfare and quality of living. Meal times are a social event, gathering all of the residents and rendering it one big social encounter.
Safety comes First
We understand that safety provides a soothing, empowering and significant value, especially for third age seniors. We have therefore devised a complete service package including monitored entrance, security cameras, a medical team available throughout the entire day and individual assistance on any medical or bureaucratic issue. In addition, our maintenance personnel handle any resident need or demand, whether it’s replacing a light bulb or fixing a clogged sink. The residents’ security array was planned with the aim of ensuring comfort, availability and peace of mind – for the residents and their relatives as well.
House Staff
Our dedicated and experienced house staff includes a nurse, medical team, house mother, social worker, social and cultural coordinator, lobby and reception manager, kitchen staff and nutritionist, housekeeping team and a security maintenance team. They all work with a sense of calling, deep listening and strong empathy. The residents enjoy individual accompaniment, solutions to various needs, high availability and empathy evident in every interaction. Our service is not technical – it is personal, empathetic and respectful. Because when people feel that they are always seen – they feel at home.
Mobility and Transportation
Golden Hill is located by a main transportation artery and is especially accessible – including a light train station and bus lines to the entire city. In addition, there are two synagogues and a commercial center with a supermarket, café, restaurants, post office, bank and health fund just walking distance away. The location enables the residents to retain their independence and mobility and to enjoy an active and accessible lifestyle.
