This year’s Purim events at Golden Hill will be remembered for a long time.
Every year we read the Megillah; this year, we lived it!
We divided the deep meaning of the holiday – which transformed from ancient history into our daily reality – into three moving parts that fill us with strength and a sense of mission.
Part One: Our heroic soldiers, who are our children and grandchildren, fight on the front lines with bravery beyond words. In their courage, we see Queen Esther’s spirit come to life. Like them, she stood at the front and risked her life to save us all.
Part Two: The bond between Israel and the U.S. is more than strategy – it is a shared destiny of values. Just as Mordechai the Jew stood firm and refused to bow to Haman, today we stand united against those who seek to destroy the values of the free world.
Part Three: The resilience of the homefront gives our army the spirit of victory. When Queen Esther faced danger, she drew strength from the unity of the people. Today, as then, a strong homefront is the power behind our victory.
