Hanukkah Wrap-Up at Golden Hill \ud83c\udfe0 Senior Living in Jerusalem \ud83c\udfe0 We didn’t just have light \ud83d\udd26 we had plenty of rhythm too! A real ‘Hanukkah Carnival’..<\/p>

Eight days of the holiday have passed, but the light and energy are still with us. This year, we decided to take Hanukkah one step further \ud83d\udeb6 and turn it into a real carnival.<\/p>

Every evening we gathered together \u2728 residents, families, and the dedicated staff \u2728 for a festive and moving candle lighting. We were honored to host a different resident or family member each day to lead the blessings and light the candles, \ud83d\udd6f\ufe0f surrounded by tables laden with holiday treats (\ud83d\udc73\u200d\u2640\ufe0f because you can’t go without a little sweetness).<\/p>

But the Highlight? The Rhythm..<\/h2>

On one of the special evenings, we enjoyed a sweeping performance combining martial arts, tap dance, and authentic percussion. As you can see in the photos \ud83e\udd33 the energy was sky-high! Our residents proved once again that joy and rhythm don’t depend on age, joining in the drumming, \ud83d\udd7a dancing, and shared happiness.<\/p>

Hanukkah at Golden Hill is a reminder \ud83d\udca1 that our community is one big, warm, and happy family.<\/p>

The Light in the Candles, The Spark in Our Eyes… \u2728<\/h2>

Wrapping up an unforgettable Hanukkah at Golden Hill Senior Living in Jerusalem! \ud83c\udfe0<\/p>

For eight days, our home was filled with a special light. Not just from the menorahs on the windowsills, but mostly from the people.<\/p>

We called it the \ud83c\udfb6 ‘Hanukkah Carnival’ \ud83c\udfb6 and it was simply magical: Every evening we gathered together \u2013 residents, children, grandchildren, and staff \u2013 for a moving candle lighting. Each day, a different resident or family member was honored with lighting the candles, and right after… the celebration began!<\/p>

We enjoyed a unique rhythmic performance of tap dance and drums \ud83e\udd41 (just look at our residents joining in on the drumming!), tasted sweet treats, and most importantly \u2013 we were together. Because at Golden Hill, every holiday is another opportunity to celebrate life with the wonderful community we’ve created here. \ud83d\udc9e<\/p>
